An inspiring legacy of love
A committed member of his local Parish, he loved to sing from the Anglican Hymn Book and spent many years as choirmaster. Roger left a bequest to Anglican Overseas Aid to support people battling poverty.
Shortly after receiving Roger’s Bequest, Anglican Overseas Aid was advised of the worsening drought and
pending famine in Kenya. Vulnerable children had little, if any, food and were dropping out of school.
Roger’s legacy funded an emergency feeding program in 77 primary schools across the region. The program fed
48,018 children daily. For many, this was their only meal of the day.
Roger’s generous gift provided vulnerable children with desperately needed food, which in turn boosted school enrolment.
Roger touched the lives of thousands of students during his life on earth. His legacy saved the lives of thousands of children, enabling them to continue their education.
An inspiring legacy of love.
Leaving a gift in your Will to Anglican Overseas Aid is a powerful way to extend your commitment to following Jesus beyond your lifetime, leaving a lasting legacy of compassion and impact.
