EAA Middle East Crisis Appeal
Families in Gaza continue to face trauma, uncertainty and urgent humanitarian need.

Even with a ceasefire in place in Gaza, the situation remains fragile. Growing instability across the region is increasing uncertainty for civilians and adding further strain to communities already facing immense hardship.
For months, people in Gaza have endured conflict, displacement and loss. Children and families continue to live with trauma and grief, and the need for medical care, stability and emotional support remains urgent.
In the midst of this, al-Ahli Arab Hospital continues to serve as a place of refuge and healing. Hospital Director Suhalia says families, especially children, continue to carry deep trauma, displacement and grief after months of war.
Despite immense challenges, the hospital remains fully operational and committed to uninterrupted service. Each month, the hospital provides around 11,000 outpatient consultations, carries out 15 to 20 surgical operations each day, and delivers wound care to approximately 3,000 people, many of them children and patients injured during the war.
The emergency department also remains active, responding to trauma and complex medical cases for around 130 patients each day. Staff continue to work under sustained pressure, yet their commitment to patients has not wavered.
The greatest ongoing needs are clear: essential medicines and medical supplies, stable funding for staff salaries, maintaining equipment, and support to keep vital services running without interruption.
Your support through this appeal will help sustain life-saving care for people who have already endured so much. It will help al-Ahli continue to be a place of stability and compassionate care for thousands of families.
Anglican Overseas Aid is participating in this appeal through the Emergency Action Alliance, standing alongside partners responding to urgent humanitarian need.
Coordinated support is vital in helping hospitals like al-Ahli continue serving communities during this critical time.
