Anglicans unite to help Australian bushfire victims

As the bushfires continue to rage across Australia, all of us at Anglican Overseas Aid would like to express our sadness for the loss and grief that so many Australians are going through.

Every day we see the generosity and kindness of ordinary Australians supporting the work that we do overseas. It’s just the Australian way, to help those in need.

In response to the crisis we are facing here, the Melbourne Anglican Diocese has enabled donations through the Melbourne Anglican Foundation Trust to be distributed to bushfire victims in Victoria. If you would like to contribute, you can access the online donation form here: https://maf.melbourneanglican.org.au

It is heartening to see everyone coming together to help one another; those fighting the fires, offering their homes, caring for wildlife and those donating money. Whether there is an emergency or disaster at home or in a far away place, we will unite in prayer and action to help those that are suffering.
