Will you help keep women safe from harm?Anglican Overseas Aid is supporting the Anglican Church of Melanesia’s 'Committee to Prevent Family Violence' to research its own gender violence policy. The challenge is ensuring this research is done in consultation with both the Diocese and communities so that the responses developed are successfully implemented.
Your gift of $20 will help keep vulnerable women safe by developing support services for men seeking to change their behaviour.
$50 could go towards supporting the Church committee to develop and deliver a comprehensive public education campaign about family violence.
$100 could help provide support and training to Mothers’ Union representatives to provide counselling for women suffering from family violence.

Regular donations make an enormous difference to people in the developing world because they give our overseas partners the confidence to plan for the longer term. That means more can be done to meet the needs of the people we help – people living in difficult and often life-threatening circumstances. Simply click on Recurring Payment on our Online Donation page, then nominate the amount and frequency of your regular donation. A receipt will be issued at the end of the financial year. Becomign a regular donor reduces administration costs, allowing us to send more funds overseas.
Your donations will be used wisely and effectively to address the needs of some of the most vulnerable people in the world. With your support, we will continue working with our partners to achieve their priorities within the context of our vision of a peaceful, just and sustainable world for all.
